DNP’s Hot Folder Print (HFP) Utility is a robust yet easy-to-use utility to enable printing on DNP's dye-sublimation photo printers.

DNP's Hot Folder Print includes features like 4x8 multi-cut prints and improved printer status logging. This version of HFP allows you to print a matte finish on specified areas of the photo. Use this to highlight your logo or draw attention to certain photo features. A true A4 print size has been added to the system for supported printers and NOW you can make photo booth style prints using the 2x6" print feature!

When a compatible image file is copied into a monitored folder it is sent to an attached printer for output.   Each monitored file folder has a simple name such as 4 x 6, 5 x 7, 6 x 8, 8 x 10, 8 x 12, etc. that refers to the output size that will be produced.   HFP prints a single copy of each image and then moves the image file to an archive folder.  Archive folders are created automatically for each day that HFP is utilized.

HFP allows users to control color settings including Auto Correction, RGB, Gamma, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, and Sharpness. Utilize individual channel control or move channels together. Quickly revert to default settings.

HFP allows users to control color settings.

Capture that special moment!

HFP supports adding borders to images before printing. Borders can be added using the built-in border utility accessed through the Admin menu. From here, the user can import and edit borders, and then save them to the folder that corresponds to the desired output size.

And then add a custom border!

HFP supports DS620A, QW410, DS820A, DS40, DS80, DS-RX1HS/DS-RX1HS, and DS80DX printers. HFP operates in a one-to-many printing mode. This means that if two or more printers loaded with compatible media are connected to the system, prints will be distributed to each of them in order to complete your job in the shortest time possible .
