Dye-sublimation Media
The dye-sublimation process uses a printing technique that diffuses dye in the form of a ribbon onto paper. When heat is applied, the dye is converted into gas which is absorbed by a special receiving layer on the paper.
The dye layers are then sealed into the paper and the image is protected against UV light, fingerprints, and even water. There is no smudging, running, or blotching because prints are dry and ready to touch as soon as they leave the printer. DNP dye-sublimation media can create a total of 16.7 million true colors and reproduce stunning natural images.
